Dota 2 is developer Valve's take on a sequel to the original Dota, or Defense of the Ancients. Within this multiplayer-only game, players team up in two sets of five, each controlling one of many Heroes to take out the enemy base. Dota 2 maintains tradition with a single map and heavy use of Items for strategy.
